There are promotional gifts that are made for almost everyone and there are those that are better targeted at the right people. You can feel quite safe giving away pens, mugs, notepads etc. to your whole target customer base but when you have exceptional customers you really want to impress, it’s often best to really home in on what will make them happy. Products such as promotional caps are such products. Here we will look at who will most likely wear your printed or embroidered headwear and help you build your brand.
Employees are often a great place to start
People are usually proud of where they work. Printed garments such as jacket, shirts, scarves and promotional caps are excellent incentives for employees to perform better at work. The great thing is, promotional caps have a high perceived value even though they aren’t very expensive.
Branded caps are also regularly used as part of a staff uniform. We’ve all seen people working for a host of different companies wearing promotional headwear. Sometimes the promotional caps they are wearing do more than promote the company they work for but protect them from the sun or in industries such as the food industry keep a person’s hair out of the soup.
PROMOTIONAL CAPS for clubs and organisations
In a similar way to employees, members of clubs and organisations will like wearing the branded products of the associations that are important to them. Often the two overlap with organisation employees receiving branded merchandise first and offering the same of similar merchandise to members.
Depending on the association, members may even be prepared to put their hands in their pockets to show their support by purchasing your branded promotional caps and other merchandise.
Your customers may also choose to wear your logo and details
If you are like me – and I’ll assume you are – I can think of several suppliers I really like to do business with. I can also think of a lot of brands I like to use. If I were to receive a branded cap from one of the companies I would wear it and be happy to do so. Admittedly, I wear caps often so given a nice new embroidered cap, I would consider it a nice gift.
Obviously not everyone would be excited about receiving a new cap.
If you are exhibiting and want to offer your customers promotional merchandise they will want to own and use, it would be prudent to order a small quantity of several different types of like-valued gifts.
Let your trade show visitors choose from a range of promotional gifts. Remember, if your promotional caps are just put into a drawer and never worn they can’t do their job.
This is why promotional caps are often targeted at customers through incentive schemes or given away face to face to those you know will wear them.
So you see, promotional caps can be excellent promotional tools if you guide them into the right hands. If given to people who love to wear them, you could enjoy months if not years of continuous brand promotion while keeping your customers, members and employees happy with the person behind the brand.
In my next post, we will look at using promotional caps in team building. In the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact us on 01642 782455 if you have any questions about our range of stock and bespoke promotional caps.
