What Desktop Items Could You Not Be Without?

I recently did a survey to find out which promotional desktop items my customers simply could not do without. It was by no means a professionally done survey. It was done – over time – on the phone and email with long time customers. It did, however, bring in some interesting results. The biggest surprise for me was that over half of the people asked said they could not do without a good notepad.

To many of you that might seem obvious, but to me it just wasn’t. Yes we do sell thousands of promotional notepads every year but for some reason I looked more seriously at products such a promotional pens, promotional photo mugs and mouse mats.

The results got me thinking, however, and soon I found myself reaching for my pen and notepad quite often. Given the digital age we live in and the fact that I am usually writing on my computer, I had forgotten just how important and needed promotional notepads really are. This was perhaps silly of me as i normally test different promotional pens to feature on our site.

Can you guess which promotional desktop gifts I will now be recommending to my customers?

In second place in my pole was the promotional pen. This makes sense as promotional pens are the biggest selling promotional desk items in the UK. Promotional pens were followed by promotional mugs in third places, promotional mouse mats in fourth and promotional desktop calendars in fifth place.

At the end of the day, and regardless of which order you place these promotional desktop items in, these are all highly visible and needed items that we use every. If you are considering giving your clients or employees promotional desktop gifts it is important to keep this in mind.
