Promotional Stress Balls and Twitter are the Perfect Low Cost Marketing Match

Monday, June 21st, 2010

What do stress balls and Twitter have in common? The truth is, much more than meets the eye! Twitter and stress relievers are a dynamic duo when paired as a form of marketing for a business. If you want to make your business more appealing for your customers inexpensively, then consider using Twitter and promotional stress toys together. This article will provide you with a few ideas to use Twitter and promotional stress balls in fun ways that will get people connecting with your business!

Everyone loves stress toys. It seems to have become a universal fact in the world. It’s true that if a stressball is anywhere near a person, usually that person has an urge to squeeze it.

So where does Twitter come into play? Well, one great idea is to print the best tweet from a customer on a bunch of stress toys and hand them out to the rest of your customers. Host a Twitter contest, in which your customers have 140 characters or less to say why they absolutely love your business’s products or services. It can be funny, serious, poetic, or even conversational in tone. Or, you may want to host a Twitter contest in which customers create a new motto for your business. Whatever it is, if you as the business owner like what a customer has to say, simply designate that customer as the winner. Then, print the short message on a bunch of stress toys and mail them to everyone that participated!

Social media and low cost promotional gifts work well hand-in-hand. As a match made in heaven, both Twitter and stresstoys are fun and promote a positive way of viewing your company. Twitter is a form of social media that shows your business can keep up with the times, while stress toys give your company a personalized vibe that is quite appealing to customers.

The great thing about stress balls is they are usually kept on an office desk. This means if you print your company’s Twitter account information on a bunch of them, then they can actually advertise your business to other executives and CEO’s without them even realizing it!

Stress balls come in any shape for any industry, which makes them flexible for any use when paired with your company’s Twitter account. Even if a business does not sell the shape you want, you can typically create the shape you want by yourself! Stress toys can be just as customizable as the words in your Twitter posts.

The next time you are looking for fresh, innovative ways to market your business, consider using promotional stressballs and Twitter. Together, they make the perfect marketing match!

Gordon Brown Shape

A bespoke Gordon Brown Shape

Here is a great idea that was not even possible a few years ago. If you are a public speaker or evangelist or perhaps you represent a celebrity, why not have promotional stress balls made in your or your client’s likeness? This was made possible a few years ago when a British stress ball supplier began manufacturing stress ball heads that looked like George W Bush. The shapes went down very well and soon companies and public speakers were calling asking if they could have such shapes in their likeness. Now there are many squeeze balls made in the likeness of famous people and some not so famous people. If you or your clients have a high profile and you would like to build on it, give these promotional stress relievers a try!

In order to begin, you will want to find a stressball manufacturer who really knows their stuff. This is not a job for a business gift supplier who sells many different thing including about ten stock stress toy shapes. You need to find a company that specialises in stress shapes and knows how they are made.

Back in the 80s when the first promotional stress balls hit the market, you only had round balls to choose from. The industry advanced very quickly and soon new moulds were being produced in many different shapes. These first shapes were easy to manufacture because they did not need to be 100% perfect. The cow shape, for example, looks like a cow. You can tell it is a cow but it is more of a caricature of a cow. It has rounded softer features to make the stress toy look like a toy.

When you are trying to manufacture a stress ball in a real person’s likeness, it needs to be a lot more accurate. If it isn’t it may not look like the person. Therefore, if this is of interest to you, you will need to take at least ten pictures of the person’s head from different angles. This will help the person who actually creates the stressball mould to ensure that all of the details are as accurate as possible. The designer will then manufacture a mould which will be filled with resin. When the resin hardens, you will be able to see the shape and approve it before the full order of stress heads are manufactured. If time allows you could even ask for a sample of a finished stress ball. The normal lead-time is about six weeks. If you want to see an actual samples, you will need to allow two to three more weeks.
