Senator Verve Metallic Pens

The New Senator Verve Metallic Pen. Style at an affordable price!

Have you ever seen a pen that just jumped out at you?

Perhaps this is a silly question as pens are not the most exciting products in the world. But they are required daily by us all. This makes them an obvious choice for promoting one’s business.

Perhaps a better question would be…

Have you ever been given a promotional pen that wrote poorly and made you think the company that gave it to you was a bit cheap?

We all have.

It is these same cheap pens that eventually draw people to the quality products manufactured my Senator Pens – one of the most popular manufacturers of plastic promotional pens.

You cannot go wrong with a Senator Pen and the new Verve pen is simply one of the best.

I love the Verve! It is available in twenty new trendy colours that will get your brand noticed. What’s more, its innovative design will get your customers talking about your business! Two years in the making, the pen offers plenty of print space to promote your logo and contact details.

The clip is the most unique part of the pen. It features a double walled clip which is both strong and attractive and offers a super large print area of 40mm x 8mm.

Promotional Senator Verve Transparent Pens

The Senator Verve Transparent in all it trendy colours.

There are two different versions of the Verve pen. A translucent version which has an addition print area on the side of the clip of 18mm x 3mm and a metal trim version.

You can count on the pen to promote your business in a positive way. It comes complete with a huge refill for long writing life. Senator is famous for their smooth writing pens that last for months if not years.

These new pens are really nice to write with and I can assure you they will be very popular. The Verve pen will not be available until for businesses to purchase until the end of February 2011 but orders are already being accepted.

Today I have written with the Senator Verve pen for most of the day. Like the other pens in the Senator’s extensive range it has not let me down.

The pen has jumped out at me. I know it will be a massive hit. In fact I will be placing an order for a large quantity to promote my own business.

How to Search Online for Promotional Pens

Thursday, December 23rd, 2010

When sourcing promotional pens, the best information will be found from those who test and write about pens. This makes sense. There are those who simply sell these popular promotional products hoping for the best and there are those who actually know about and write with the product they sell.

Simply typing in ‘promotional pens’ into Google or Bing is bound to bring up some good results. But often the sites that appear on the first page are there because their owners are search engine optimisation experts and not necessarily promotional pen experts.

A few of my competitors, for example, have high ranking sites on Google in the UK but their pen definitions are written in broken English by someone who probably knows very little about the products.

I recommend searching for sites online that offer the information you are looking for. If you find a pen you really like, don’t stop there! Key the pen name and brand into Google and Bing and see who is writing about them.

Find the people who are passionate about the writing instruments they sell and can offer you not only the positives but the negatives of the promotional pens they sell. Personally I spend hours testing different brands as I understand that most of my customers will not have the time to do so.

Searching for promotional printed pens can be a difficult chore. Try to type as much information into the search field as you can. For example, if you like promotional Senator Pens, type in the models you like. Don’t just type ‘promotional Senator pens,’ type ‘Promotional Senator Challenger pens’ if the Challenger is your pen of choice.

This is called long tail searching and it will bring up much better results. Doing so may even help you find companies who have used the pens and can give you the pros and cons. Is that not what we want when we are looking at spending a considerable about of money on pens? You wouldn’t purchase a car without test driving it would you?

There is no better way to get to know a promotional pen than to ask for a sample and to write with it. This is not always possible due to short lead-times. Long tail searching is the next best thing as it puts you in touch with the promotion pens companies that know the pens you want, best.

What Do You Want From Your Low Cost Promotional Plastic Pens?

Friday, November 26th, 2010

If you are purchasing promotional pens for your next promotion, you need to ask yourself what you are trying to accomplish with them. I receive enquiries daily for the ‘cheapest promotional pens’ we do.

They cost about 10p each and personally I hate them. You probably would too.

Promotional pens are one of the best ways to promote your business or organisation. They work well because they are useful. Everyone needs to write at home and/or at work daily.

The best promotional gifts are those that are both useful and that people want to own. When you are looking for the cheapest pens available you will most likely end up with a pen that does not fulfil either of these reuirements.

For under 20p each, you can purchase good quality plastic pens if you order in large quantities. If you are ordering a small quantity of pens, say 250 to 1000, you will want to be looking around the 30 to 40p mark for pens that write well, look good and have the added bonus of being the kind of low cost gifts people will actually want.

Of course you get what you pay for.

I always recommend asking for samples before placing an order for low cost plastic promotional pens. Write with the samples and ask your work colleagues to do so as well.

Think to yourself – do you want to own that pen. Would you write with it often? Would you throw it in the bin or keep it safely in your top desk drawer?

Anyone would prefer to write with a good quality and more expensive gift pen. These are gifts you can save for your best clients but plastic pens are still required and looked for everyday. Most people will keep a few in their desk or briefcase even if they have a better quality brand name gift pen on their desktop.

It is important to note that their are hundreds of thousands of promotional plastic pens on the market. You will want to look around and check out both the generic and name brand options such as Senator, Lecce and Prodir.

Generally speaking, the name brand plastic pens are the best but there are some very good quality generic pens on the market. Do not be afraid to ask for any of the samples of pens that are of interest to you as they are normally free of charge and will help you with your decision.

A promotional pens supplier should be able to offer you professional advice about which personalised pens are best for you. If you are looking for a long writing life you will want to look for Senator and Prodir pens. If you need to have your logo printed in full colour, Senator, Lecce and Bic are all good places to start. If you want metal pens at plastic pen prices, you should be able to find these as well.

Spend a little time while sourcing and you will be much happier when your printed promotional pens arrive.
