When looking for promotional conference folders for your next meeting or conference, it is important to consider ways you can inexpensively add additional value to your folders.

The simplest conference folders are manufactured to hold the information handed out at conference and a note pad to use while there. But some stock promotional conference folders offer more than a couple pockets and a pad of paper.

Some models offer additional features such as more stylish materials, special zipped closures and other added bonuses. What’s more, these conference folders are not necessarily more expensive. Often they cost less because they are imported in large quantities.

So let’s look at some of the many options.

Zippered promotional conference folders

Zippered folders are available in materials from low cost PU right up to the finest leather. Adding a simple zip can turn a boring folder into a luxury carrying case. Many feature different interior pockets, usb slots, pen loops and of course a place for the all important lined note pad.

Added Luxury

Sometimes it is necessary to source folders that are manufactured closer to home. The imported folders are nice and usually less expensive but that is not everything! You could find it beneficial to add colourful corners, use highest quality leather, add padding or perhaps pockets that are specially made to holder your brochures perfectly.

Promotional Pens and Pads

Most promotional folders are supplied with a paper pad and pen. This is not always the case so you will want to check before ordering if this is important to you.

That said, many people prefer to source better quality pens and pads to add to their folders. Often they ask to have the original pen and pad removed and replaced with the better quality product. This is not a problem and can really add to the look and feel of the folders.

Promotional Calculators

Like pens and paper, some promotional folders are supplied with a pocket calculator. If not, adding one is not a problem. If you feel you the attendees to your conference would benefit from a calculator, look for the folders that have calculators built in or simply ask your supplier to find a promotional calculator that will work for you.

USB and CD Pockets

If your conference uses multimedia that is supplied on disc or USB, you many want to look for folders that offer pockets that they fit into perfectly. It is important to keep such things safe so that the attendees can use them after the conference.

Promotional Ring Binders

If you are handing out information that is better kept in a ring mechanism, you will not find it difficult to find ring binder conference folders. Often such folders include a zip around fastening as standard. There are folders with very small 10mm mechanisms right up to large capacity 25mm mechanisms.

If time allows, I recommend asking for samples of the folders that are of interest to you. This way you can feel the material and check out the quality of the folders before placing an order.
