Promotional conference folders are some of the most popular gifts you can give your clients.
They are available in so many different materials and quite a few different sizes. You should not have any problem finding a folder that will promote your business in a very positive and memorable way.
Sometimes, however, it is important to order folders that are capable of holding a lot of different material safely and attractively.
Zipped folders are most popular in A4 and A5 sizes. You will find them manufactured in nylon, PU and leather. PVC, another popular material for manufacturing conference folders cannot accommodate the stitched in zipper.
Let’s look at those three materials to see what is best for you.
Nylon and MicroFibre Zipped Folders
These look great, come in quite a few different colours and are nice to the touch. If you are not interested in leather or leather-like folders, these could be for you. They are considerably less expensive than most leather folders and are certainly more colourful.
PU Zipped Folders
These leather-like folders look and feel like real leather. They do not have the same leather feel and, though they have quite a long life, do not last as long as leather. Most are imported from the Far East as are the nylon folders.
If you want leather folders without the leather price tag, check out some of these leather-like options. They really look great.
Leather Zipped Folders
The creme de la creme of conference folders, leather zipped folders will make a big impression. They are not for everyone, however. Leather is usually more expensive than other materials and you do not have the large colour choice offered by nylon folders.
There are still quite a lot of good leather conference folder manufacturers in the West but most are manufactured in China and India.
Good quality leather and PU folders can often be manufactured to order. Special personalisation techniques such as embossing and gold blocking are also very popular.
Less expensive folders manufactured in PU, nylon or microfibre are usually printed.
Whenever choosing promotional folders, always check to ensure they can easily hold the promotional material you want them to. This may seem obvious but it isn’t for everyone!
If you have different sized brochures or a special pen you like to use to promote your business, you may want to ask for bespoke zipped folders. This could be more expensive but often well worth the additional expense.
